Large Private Equity Firm

When we began working with one of the world's most respected private equity firms with more than $6 billion under management, the firm had a new $2 billion fund to invest, and wanted to make larger deals, focusing on buyouts.

We conducted interviews with general partners, investment bankers, limited partners, CEOs of portfolio companies, and the media. We identified brand strengths and weaknesses, and developed differentiated brand positioning. We then developed and deployed a comprehensive corporate communications program, including media relations, thought leadership, bylined articles, events, and conference support.

Results include articles in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Washington Post, as well as major profiles of the firm in Boston Globe, Buyouts, The Deal, Institutional Investor, Pensions & Investments, Private Equity International and Real Deals. The private equity firm, an eight-year client, has made more and bigger investments, expanded into London and Mumbai, and their newest $4 billion fund was oversubscribed.
